A few weeks ago, we received a copy of the Windows Vista SP1 and shortly after that we discovered that TrendMicro's PC-cillin (Internet Security 208) is not running correctly after SP1 was installed. Today, our Virus Protection admin delivered some good news:

A new version of Internet Security 2008 has been released last Thursday (March 6). The version is 16.1_1063. It has been tested and our current license key works for this new version.

This new version of Internet Security 2008 is compatible with Service Pack 1 (SP1) for both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows Vista. Installing Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) does not cause any known problems in Trend Micro Internet Security. For Windows Vista users, please uninstall the previously installed Internet Security 2008 and reinstall this version. For XP users, you can choose to use this new version or keep the previous version.

The new version of Internet Security 2008 is available on our SoftwareDepot site.
